In memory of Ben Pon and his impressive legacy, we present the Marinus Celebration Box. This exclusive edition contains three special vintages of our iconic Marinus: 2011, 2014 and 2018.
Tasting notes
Each vintage brings a unique experience of the Marinus:
- 2011 : Refined and complex, with notes of ripe plums, cedarwood and a hint of tobacco.
- 2014 : Full and powerful, with flavours of black cherry, vanilla and a hint of chocolate.
- 2018 : Elegant and fruity, with a balanced structure of berries and subtle spices.
Food pairing
The versatility of the Marinus comes into its own with poultry, lamb, beef and game.
A Tribute to Carmel Valley
The Marinus Celebration Box celebrates the best of our Estate Vineyard in Carmel Valley. Over three hundred oak trees protect our vines, while the sea breezes and hours of sunshine provide a perfect balance of power and finesse. The grapes – Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot – are carefully hand-picked and matured in French oak barrels for 24 to 30 months.
