Only 331 boxes were made in 2019, of which only a small quantity was exported to the Netherlands.
The rolling eastern terrace is divided into three different plots. A total of 38 hectares of premium wine grapes are planted here, 27 of which are Pinot Noir and the rest Chardonnay and Syrah. The upper part is planted with oak trees, the middle half is directly connected to Garys', and the lower plot is rocky with a gentle hillside. The sandy loam soil drains very well, allowing the roots to grow deep. The early morning mist and cool, steady winds from Monterey Bay provide a long growing season, allowing the grapes to ripen well.
The grapes are picked and selected by hand. The wine is fermented and matured according to Burgundian tradition. Until just before bottling, the wine is stirred by hand every two weeks to increase the richness and complexity of the wine.
Deep gold in the glass. Rich aromas of baked apple, vanilla and cream on the nose. The palate shows its characteristic richness and intensity with ripe white fruit flavours accented by subtle buttery oak notes, which linger beautifully in the soft, full finish.

Fond memories of our "founder"
“In America I wanted to make wines that can compete with the best wines in the world and be accessible to everyone. Maybe not every day, but every day that you want to make more beautiful. We have worked with everything to create a wine collection that meets this ambition and believe that we have succeeded”
